Venezuelan with Trinidadian background living in Montreal and trying to learn French. I'm interested in books, movies, TV, yoga, music, social media and crochet. This is pretty cool. Daniel Day Lewis hanging out in Richmond while filming Lincoln.

Yay for Richmond! Yay for Daniel Day-Lewis!

jephkelley:

Here’s Daniel Day-Lewis dressed as Abraham Lincoln for his new role in Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln, sitting in a cafe here in Richmond, about a half hour ago or so (I did not take this picture). Honest Abe apparently wore jeans and sneakers, as well. Method actor my ass.

I read the play for my Lit class and the Professor encouraged us to watch this video.

Fun performance.

Birds of a feather flock together, but opposites also attract. Two minds are better than one, except when too many cooks spoil the broth. Does absence make the heart grow fonder, or is out of sight out of mind? At what point does try, try again turn into flogging a dead horse? And if experience is the best teacher, when should one also maintain a beginner’s mind?
